Purex Complete Crystals Review and Giveaway (GIVEAWAY CLOSED)

Recently I applied and was accepted to become a Purex Insider. A great opportunity to test new products and share my opinions with my readers. Last week I received a package, and opened it up to find a fancy, shiny blue box. Contained in the blue box was a generous sample size bottle of Purex Complete Crystals in Fresh Spring Waters Scent.

According to Purex, Purex Complete Crystals is the first fabric softener that stays with your clothes through the entire wash. No more need for difficult little plastic balls, and no more waiting around for the rinse cycle. It has 92% natural ingredients, and unlike a lot of fabric softeners Purex Complete Crystals is not oil based, so it penetrates your fabrics instead of coating them. This allows your fabrics to keep their fresh scent that can last weeks instead of days. Not being oil based also allows fabrics, like towels, to be more absorbent then with oil based softeners. Purex Complete Crystals is also the first major fabric softener that is 100% safe to use on children's flame retardant sleepwear. There are currently three scents available - Fresh Spring Waters, Lavender Blossom, and Tropical Splash.

After learning all this information, I was very excited to put it to the test. I used it for the first time 4 days ago. First of all, it's very convenient and simple to use. Just start the washer and add it right along with your detergent. The scent lingered through my whole house, which although very pleasant, got my a little worried that the clothes in the wash would have an overwhelming scent. I was very pleased to find that the scent was not overwhelming, but was just right. I'm also pleased to see that the clothing I first used this on four days ago, is not only very soft, but also still holds it's pleasant scent.
